We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team at Birtley Community Pool. We’re excited to have reopened the pool in September 2024, and we need committed staff members to help us provide safe, high-quality services to the local community.

Positions Available:

• Full Time Leisure Attendants: (37.5 hours/week)
• Part Time Leisure Attendants: (20-30 hours/week)
• Casual Leisure Attendants: (Zero hours contract, up to 16 hours/week)

Salary: £22,737 to £23,114 per year (depending on experience, pro rata for part time and casual)

Your Responsibilities:

• Lifeguarding to ensure the safety of our pool users.
• Supporting operational tasks, including maintenance of pool equipment and facilities.
• Performing reception duties and administrative tasks.
• Rotating between responsibilities to maintain a balanced work schedule.
• Maintaining and updating qualifications, including the Pool Lifeguard certification.

Essential Qualifications:

• A valid RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or willingness to achieve this.
