Thanks to recent fundraising, we’ve added exciting new inflatable pieces giving families even more reason to visit again and again!

Summer Updates

New Aquafit Member Price

We’re offering a further discount for members on Aquafit sessions starting this summer—now just £5 instead of £6! (Public price £7)

More Inflatable Fun

Thanks to fundraising support, we’ve added new inflatable pieces to our obstacle course—ready for action all summer long!

We have the new “Basher Wall” and “log” sections, so we can vary the obstacle course from time to time.

A Huge Thank You to e-POWER

We’re incredibly grateful to E Power for their generous donation and all their support! Not only did they contribute financially, but they also hand-delivered our summer leaflets to local businesses and even made custom tote bags for us. Your efforts mean the world to us—thank you for powering up our summer!

Prince William Meets the Birtley Team (Again!)

Our Chair, Yvonne Probert, and Treasurer, Matthew Grant, were recently invited to a garden party at Buckingham Palace, where they had another chance to meet Prince William.

He greeted them with a warm “Hey, it’s the Birtley gang!” and jokingly called them “the Birtley Massive” during the group photo—getting a great reaction from the crowd.

They spoke with the Prince about our growing membership, increasing footfall, and plans to cut energy costs, including installing solar panels. He offered support through the Royal Foundation, which is now helping us explore funding options. Exciting progress for our pool and community!
